On the centennial of Dylan Thomas’s birth in 1914, Sonoma County poet and teacher Terry Ehret will lead a two-week writing workshop and literary tour in Wales in the summer of 2014. The focus will be on Dylan Thomas and Gerard Manley Hopkins, as well as the myths and legends of the Mabinogion. The travel group will be limited to 7 travelers to ensure a comfortable and inspiring workshop experience.
We will stay in a privately rented house in the Welsh countryside, within easy driving distance from the airport in Manchester, as well as in bed & breakfasts during our stay in Carmarthenshire in south Wales.
Workshop travel dates are tentatively July 24-August 9, 2014, but will be determined by the schedules of those participating.
